Skype for Business unifies voice and video calls, Skype for Business Meetings, presence, and instant messaging (IM) in one easy-to-use client, making it simple to choose and switch between different forms of communication. Clients are available for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.
1. Checking voice mail
Open Skype's audio settings. This window will allow you to change Skype's audio input from your default microphone to MorphVOX. If you're using Mac, click the three dots icon next to your profile picture in the upper-left corner, and select Audio & Video Settings. How to set up Krisp with Skype. Go to Skype Settings Audio & Video and change the Microphone/Speaker to Krisp. Hint: As the Krisp speaker keeps the human voice and cancels the noises, your Skype ringtone might be filtered out. To avoid that, you can turn on the option that says 'Ring on additional device.'.
You will receive a notification when you have a new voice mail. There are several ways to check your voice mail with Skype for Business. You can use the Skype for Business client, Outlook, or your Skype for Business phone, if you have one. 2. Voice mail settings
The Outlook Web App allows you to customize many settings to give you the voice mail experience that works best for you. You can set up call answering rules to determine what happens when you don't answer, as well as create a custom greeting if you choose. You may also change your preference for how you receive missed call notifications.

3. Keep voice mail longer
By default, voice mails are retained for 30 days unless they are manually deleted. However, if you have any voice mails that you would not like to automatically delete, you are able to change the settings for each message individually.

4. Use your desktop client anywhere
With Skype for Business, you are able to work from any location with an internet connection without losing any features of the service. You will be able to receive calls made to your office number, even if you are working at home, another building, or any other remote location.

5. Mobile client
You may not always be able to have your computer with you, so the Skype for Business mobile client allows you to stay connected on-the-go. While using the mobile client, you can place calls from your office number.

6. Contact groups
Using contact groups makes it easier to send an email, schedule a meeting, or start a conference call with several people. Can t erase startup disk mac.

7. Audio conference
Holding an audio conference call has never been easier! All users are sent a conference link and instantly added to the meeting. Alternatively, a user may choose to dial in.

8. Share your desktop
Skype for Business allows you to share your desktop with anyone in a meeting, call or instant message. Everyone will be able to see what is on your screen, whether or not they have the applications you're using.

9. Collaborate with users outside of the university

Did you know that you can hold a conference with Skype for Business users outside of the university using the web app? This is a great way to communicate with vendors or consultants that you may not be able to meet with in person. An external user can also join a meeting by calling in for the audio portion.
